The New Multi-Screen World. Understanding Cross-Platform Behaviour

We now live, socialise, shop, consume and browse through many devices in our ‘New Multi-Screen World’. Tablets and mobile devices have totally changed how we interact with both the internet and each other.

Google reports that 90% of people move between devices to accomplish a goal, wether that’s on smartphones, PCs, tablets or TV.

This means that brands and businesses need to figure out new strategies in order to engage, converse and connect with consumers as they move between devices.

According to Google there are two primary ways we multi-screen.
Sequential screening where we move from one device to another to complete a single goal
Simultaneous screening where we use multiple devices at the same time

There are now more opportunities than ever before to connect with consumers, brands need to make sure they’re prepared and are fully optimised across multiple screens.
